This course is intended for application developers who know how to create applications in Visual Studio 2005 or 2008.
This course is intended for more experienced ASP.NET (version 1.x and/or 2.0) developers. During this relatively short course, the most importent ASP.NET 3.5 topics will be discussed. Developers with little or no ASP.NET experience are strongly advised to attend course 2310C (Developing Web Applications Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008) first.

This two-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to create a fully functional Web application by using ASP.NET 3.5.
After completing this course, students will be able to:
o Explain how to create dynamic Web pages by using ASP.NET.
o Manage state, handle requests, and improve accessibility by using the features of ASP.NET.
o Configure an ASP.NET application by using .config files
o Create a user interface on an ASP.NET page by using standard Web server controls.
o Create a user control and a custom server control and add them to an ASP.NET page.
o Access and manipulate data from different sources by using ADO.NET 3.5.
o Access and manipulate data from Windows Communication Foundation services or Web services.
o Present data to the user by placing data-bound controls on an ASP.NET page.
o Improve page responsiveness by using the ASP.NET AJAX controls.
o Interact with the user, access services, and access the AJAX client-side library by using client scripts.
o Find and eliminate bugs in an ASP.NET application.
o Deploy an ASP.NET application to a production Web server.
o Write pages that adapt to the capabilities of mobile devices.
o Utilize controls that adapt to the capabilities of mobile devices.
Voorkennis
Before attending this course, students should have intermediate experience developing applications by using previous versions of Microsoft Visual Studio at level 200.

Module 4: Creating Responsive Pages by Using Client-Side Technologies
This module explains how to create pages that respond rapidly to user requests.

Module 5: Debugging and Deploying ASP.NET Applications
This module explains how to deploy a reliable, robust Web application to a Web server.

This module explains how to ensure that mobile device users can access all the functionality of a Web site.

Locatie- en arrangementen
Twice regelt voor de dagopleidingen van maandag tot en met zaterdag een arrangement à € 50 per dag. Een dagarrangement bestaat uit zaalhuur, gebruik van ICT-middelen, onbeperkt koffie, thee, frisdrank, ijswater en een lunch. De kosten van de arrangementen worden direct aan u doorberekend.
Btw
Op alle opleidingen en trainingen is 19% btw van toepassing en voor het studiemateriaal 6%. Met uitzondering van volledige MBO niveau 2, 3 en 4 opleidingen en de volledige HBO Bacheloropleidingen. Voor organisaties die geen btw kunnen terugvorderen, bestaat de mogelijkheid het volledige aanbod op deze website btw vrij gefactureerd te krijgen. In dit geval wordt een btw correctie van 10% toegepast. Dit betekent een voordeel van 7,5% op de inclusief btw prijs. De hoogte van btw is onder voorbehoud van eventuele wetswijzigingen.
