This course provides learners with the skills necessary to monitor, maintain and troubleshoot network environments running Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and Citrix XenApp 5.0 for Windows Server 2003 software. Learners are introduced to the tools used to monitor a XenApp farm, record farm activity and generate reports. This course provides learners with the skills necessary to maintain data and server integrity and to scale, optimize and troubleshoot a XenApp environment.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners are able to perform the following:
o Determine when and how to use monitoring tools to administer network environments containing Citrix XenApp 5.0 for Windows Server 2003
o Configure metrics, alarms and Health Monitoring and Recovery tests
o Plan and optimize the server farm
o Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity to the data store
o Monitor and troubleshoot the Citrix IMA Service and the ICA communication channel
o Troubleshoot session initialization, client settings and Application Streaming sessions
o Monitor and troubleshoot published and streamed applications
o Determine how Citrix and Active Directory policies are applied and troubleshoot unexpected policy results
o Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot printing and printing policies
o Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot Web Interface and Secure Gateway
This course prepares learners to take the 1Y0-264 Citrix Presentation Server 4.5: Support exam, a requirement for the Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) for Citrix Presentation Server 4 certification.
Voorkennis
The following are preparatory recommendations for this course:
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Terminal Services
o Working knowledge of the architecture and administrative tasks associated with Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 or attendance at one of the following courses:
- CTX-1259BI Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and XenApp 5.0 for Windows Server 2003: Administration

Locatie- en arrangementen
Twice regelt voor de dagopleidingen van maandag tot en met zaterdag een arrangement à € 50 per dag. Een dagarrangement bestaat uit zaalhuur, gebruik van ICT-middelen, onbeperkt koffie, thee, frisdrank, ijswater en een lunch. De kosten van de arrangementen worden direct aan u doorberekend.
Btw
Op alle opleidingen en trainingen is 19% btw van toepassing en voor het studiemateriaal 6%. Met uitzondering van volledige MBO niveau 2, 3 en 4 opleidingen en de volledige HBO Bacheloropleidingen. Voor organisaties die geen btw kunnen terugvorderen, bestaat de mogelijkheid het volledige aanbod op deze website btw vrij gefactureerd te krijgen. In dit geval wordt een btw correctie van 10% toegepast. Dit betekent een voordeel van 7,5% op de inclusief btw prijs. De hoogte van btw is onder voorbehoud van eventuele wetswijzigingen.
