On Friday, November 18, we will close the Global Entrepreneurship Week with the first Brabant 'Dragons Den', which we renamed 'Dragons Chapel' for the occasion because of the location. Seven startups, one from each knowledge institution (TU/e, Tilburg University, JADS, Avans, Fontys, BUAS and HAS) will be on stage for the dragons in the chapel of JADS in our Brabant capital.
The 7 startups, seeking funding, pitch their startup and funding request to 6 heavyweights: Charlotte van Slobbe (De InvesteerdersClub), Lisa Brouwer (Curiosity VC), Sven bakkes (Lumo Labs), Bob van de Meulen & Nick Stokman (student fund Round One) and Edward van de Pol (Starterslift/BrightMove Investments fund).
Which startup will receive such a much desired investment? What questions are investors asking? What needs further work? In addition to the possibility of funding from one or more investors, 7,500,- in voucher funding will be given away this afternoon by Round One and BrightMove/Starterslift.
Fun, interesting and educational to attend. If you have a startup, if you are thinking about starting something, this is the event to attend and meet your peers, investors and coaches. And who knows, maybe next time you will be on stage with your startup!
We close the afternoon with drinks where you also have the opportunity to network with the other startups and investors!
