
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Bright Move set up the COVID-19 Emergency Fund with the help of Brainport Development, Stichting Incubator 3+, Brabant Startup Fund, Philips, ASML, the Municipality of Eindhoven and the Province of Noord-Brabant at the beginning of 2020.
Purpose Covid-19 emergency fund
The purpose of this emergency fund is to provide low-threshold emergency loans to high-tech startups with a scalable business model from the Brainport Eindhoven Region, to help them through the crisis and to ensure that years of innovative developments are not lost. Loans up to € 50,000 with a term to the end of 2021 and an interest of 5% (only in 2021; 2020 is interest-free) could be provided. The conditions are also quite limited, whereby only a slight joint and several liability is requested by the founders / major shareholders.
