10 Feb 2021

The first edition of the Brabant Startup book is dedicated to the Brabant startup founders. Brabant is proud of all that talent, which - for Brabant and beyond - plays such an important role in creating much-needed solutions. This book also hopes to inspire others. Do you want to join a startup? Looking for good ideas? Or are you as a corporate or government organization looking for new solutions? This book can help you find the right startups as the first step to a fruitful collaboration. Great idea, be sure to take a look! You will see some well-known names from the Twice community.

The book has a nice intro by Job Nijs. “For several consecutive years, we have seen a steady growth in the number of people who had the guts to quit their day jobs and pursue their dreams to create something new: something that was not there before that creates value for customers ".

In an ever faster changing world, startups provide the speed and flexibility needed to find new solutions to social issues - from climate change to an aging population. New emerging technologies
offer opportunities for the introduction of new solutions and new business models. Startups are not held back by the organizational processes designed for execution. Instead, they explore new possibilities. They are not limited by already existing, outdated ICT infrastructure; they code from scratch. Perhaps most importantly, they are all not bound by "that won't work in our industry" or "we" tried that rather "experience culture and are driven by a" can-do "and" I'll show you how "mentality that replaces it. This is why it is so rewarding to work with and for startups.

The book shows many startups in different sectors. Nice to read these stories!
