On February 1, 2021, HyTEPS opened its new hub Catalyst hub on the TU / e Campus. This international company specializes in Power Quality - the quality of voltage and current.
“Due to the strong growth of our activities and our technical team, the existing office was no longer sufficient,” says Jorlan Peeters, Managing Director of HyTEPS. “We did not want to give up that unique location, a historic building in the center of Gemert, the village where the company has been located since its founding in 2007.”
It was decided to open a second office. The choice quickly fell on the Twice hub Catalyst on the campus of Eindhoven University of Technology, located in the heart of the Brainport Region. Both Brainport Eindhoven Region and Twice stimulate growth and development of innovation and technology, offering plenty of opportunities for networking and collaboration. “This new office in Eindhoven brings us closer to companies for whom our support is very important, or even essential,” continues Jorlan.
The new location in Eindhoven is easily accessible and the company is now in the immediate vicinity of potential future interns and employees. In addition to the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Electrical Engineering, the campus also houses the Fontys Nexus building, which houses three institutes in the domain of Technology and Innovation. By being located close to these training institutes, HyTEPS expects to be able to take the collaboration to a higher level.
Jorlan: “This is how we want to increase the knowledge level of students in our specific field - Power Quality. Not only from theory, but precisely from our practical knowledge. HyTEPS has been working closely with prof.dr.ir. J.F.G. Cobben, part-time professor of Power Quality in the Electrical Energy Systems research group at the TU / e Electrical Engineering group. Together we bring theory and practice closer together to increase knowledge and obtain more in-depth insights. ”
"We aim to grow our team with at least three new technical employees per year in order to continue to meet the continuously increasing demand for our expertise in the field of Power Quality."
