Alpha is the ideal place for ambitious (student) entrepreneurs and young starting (technology) companies.

In Eindhoven there is no better place to bring your innovative technology to flourish than in Alpha. Why?

In Eindhoven there is no better place to bring your innovative technology to flourish than in Alpha. Why?

  • You are doing business in the right environment: the TU/e Campus.
  • The accommodation is very affordable (from 191 euros per month), matching your budget.
  • You will be taken care of (post, internet, waste and repro) so that you can focus on growth.
  • We provide active support in the hub, such as coaching, business development and networks for start-financing: at your fingertips.
  • Workshops and laboratories on the TU/e Campus, such as in the faculties or in the Catalyst hub, are available within walking distance.
  • Each company may operate from the Alpha hub for a maximum of 4 years.

In short, in Alpha you have affordable accommodation and a good but basic level of service, in a great place (TU/e Campus), within the right network, in a stimulating environment, with the right support, so that the growth and success rate of your start-up is the highest!

The following services and facilities are available to you

  • Furnished where possible (use of available furniture = desks and/or chairs and/or tables and/or cupboards (different per room). Excluding window coverings
  • Coffee facilities (paid).
  • Pantry on each floor equipped with dishwasher, fridge, waste bin.
  • Internet is available. The costs for internet depend on the desired bandwidth and connection, and are not included in the rental price.
  • For startups related to the TU/e, Surfnet is available on request.
  • Paid parking at the TU/e Campus. It is also possible, subject to availability, to rent a private parking space in our car park at the Catalyst hub.
  • Access to the offices with your own key.
  • Reception service from hub Catalyst.
  • Parcel service from the Catalyst hub (collect at Lismortel 31).
  • Postal service, you have your own letterbox.
  • Cleaning of communal areas.
  • General meeting & meeting room is freely accessible in Alpha. Meeting rooms in hub Twinning or Catalyst can be reserved at regular cost.
  • Event space with regular events within the community and TU/e campus.
  • Incubator facilities via Innovation Lab, also located in Alpha.
  • If desired, you can stay on top of news and events in the Twice community via the weekly newsletter.
  • Long opening hours.
  • We do not offer telephony, you use your own mobile network.

Are you an Alpha entrepreneur?

Alpha is the place for innovative entrepreneurs who start their own business on the basis of a technological invention or the application of existing technology. It doesn't matter whether you start from the TU/e, Fontys, Summa or from outside the TU/e Campus.

Alpha entrepreneurs are characterised by developing something new and working towards the first real turnover, so that they can grow into Beta entrepreneurs (and perhaps even unicorns).

Typical is working on prototypes and pilots, in which the TU/e Campus offers just that stimulating environment. This increases your company's chances of success.  

On the basis of the nature and size of your business, (technological) knowledge, entrepreneurial qualities and financial starting position, we examine together whether you fit into Alpha.
