Two more months to apply for WBSO subsidy in 2024
The WBSO subsidy helps companies innovate with tax benefits. It gives you a substantial discount on taxes to develop new products, processes or services. The WBSO subsidy is the innovation subsidy of the Netherlands. You can still submit a WBSO application until the end of September for projects you want to start in 2024.
Filing a WBSO application in 2024
An innovation project must last at least three months to be eligible for WBSO subsidy. This is a condition of the WBSO subsidy. The end date of WBSO is always December 31, the last day of the year. This means that you have until September 30 at the latest to start a new innovation project with the help of WBSO subsidy.
Multiple applications in one year
It is possible to apply for the WBSO subsidy several times in one year. It is quite normal that you (suddenly) want to start a new innovation project. But you can also submit a new WBSO application for additional hours or costs/expenses of a current WBSO project. In both cases, you must submit an additional WBSO application. You can also submit additional WBSO applications no later than September 30.
