Zens and Hezelburcht: How a TWICE Connection Led to a Long-Term Partnership

At the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, the most valuable collaborations often emerge right on the premises. In the TWICE building, companies interact with one another on a daily basis; sometimes it starts with a simple conversation, but it can grow into a long-term collaboration with real impact. The collaboration between Zens and Hezelburcht is a great example of this. What began in 2015 as a connection between two companies at the same location has grown into a partnership that continuously fosters innovation, growth, and new opportunities.

A partnership that grows alongside the company

Zens, a company active in wireless charging technology, operates in a dynamic and rapidly growing market. To support that growth, the company has worked closely with Hezelburcht in recent years. This collaboration goes beyond a single specific grant application process. Over the years, Hezelburcht has become a trusted grant partner that actively contributes ideas on various issues related to innovation and growth. For example, Zens receives support in utilizing grant programs such as the WBSO, as well as in addressing broader innovation and financing challenges. According to Zens, the added value lies in that broad perspective: combining knowledge of grant programs with actively contributing ideas on next steps. As a result, new opportunities for further growth and innovation continue to emerge.

The role of TWICE and the campus

The foundation of this partnership lies at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven. As neighbors in the TWICE building, our initial contact was easy and natural. Zens has since grown and relocated to another spot on campus, but our partnership with Hezelburcht has remained strong and has only grown stronger. That is precisely where the strength of the ecosystem lies:

  • Direct lines of communication between companies
  • Direct access to knowledge and expertise
  • And an environment where collaboration happens naturally

Within such a community, partners are not external parties, but extensions of each other’s organizations.

Let’s continue to build on innovation together

Today, the partnership between Zens and Hezelburcht continues to evolve. New projects, new opportunities, and new collaborations keep emerging. As Zens puts it, the strength lies in the collaborative process: projects are constructive and educational, and there is a constant focus on exploring new possibilities.
